Two weeks ago we took Cooper back to St. Louis for the first time. Pretty low key weekend which was perfect for us. Great seeing everyone that came over, and thanks for making it easy on us. I’ll tell you what…the kids weren’t that bad on the trip there or the trip back. I guess driving was the easy job though. Stacey probably moved from the front seat to middle back about 20 times. At one point, I had to laugh and I’m sure my dad was too. We were about 90 miles out of St. Louis around 8 o’clock at night. Stacey was sitting between two car seats doing her thing (pumping) while feeding Cooper, Kori was in and out of sleep on the other side of her, and I’m up front driving 30 mph in an absolute down pour. Thanks for watching over us and keeping us safe, Pop. Can’t believe it’s been six years this September.
In conclusion, great trip but adventurous. Mom, thanks for letting us trash your house.
In other news, Stacey and I are expected to be in our new house in about a month. What a journey it has been since we married 4 years ago on October 4th. I don’t think we’ve really ever settled into a place and it looks like we are finally going to get our chance. Everything about it is great for us. It’s been a long road but good things come to those who wait. I imagine there will be some pictures that follow. Maybe we’ll throw some real cheese at you and do the typical pose by the “Sold” sign.
And finally, the blog has been revamped to accommodate our newest addition to the family. Kori will have to translate what she’s learned from Yo Gabba Gabba to the real world which is “Sharing is Fun.” Had to happen sooner or later. Cooper has been so much fun and Kori has really done a great job these first few months being a big sister. But even good kids can be exhausting hence my inspiration for the new title, Kid Stains. Kid Stains in my opinion can be just about anything that blemishes your clothes, ego, physique, stamina, so on and so forth. I’ll list a few examples.
Obvious scenario is getting peed on when I took Cooper out of the bath tub.
Kid Stain
Kori using her outside voice to let all of Target know that “Daddy tooted”!
I’ll admit that I toot but not that time. Mom has Kori trained to think that all toot sounding noises come from Daddy. Well played, Mom.
Kid Stain
Being 10 lbs overweight and experiencing shortness of breath after a few flight of stairs.
Kid Stain
You get the idea.
Go Birds and thanks for your continuous views!
